Race Weekend Weddings
2022-2023
If you are a fan of the Cartmel Races why not get married at Cartmel Old Grammar during the race weekends.
We directly overlook the action of the Racecourse just a few meters away.
You can stay for the weekend and get married on the day in-between the races or on the race day itself creating a
truly unique wedding event.
From our south facing terrace and gardens you can capture your wedding photos with the stunning backdrop of
the magnificent race horses thundering by.
There are four race weekends a year in May, June, July and August.

The Wedding
Breakfast
We offer flexibility for your wedding breakfast.
It can be provided by our recommended caterers who offer fabulous contemporary and quirky menus.
Alternatively, you can use your preferred licensed caterer.
Drinks Packages
Our standard package includes a welcome drink, half a bottle of wine per person during the wedding breakfast and a glass of Prosecco for the toast.
Our superior package includes our premium wines and Champagne.
Our connoisseur package includes our finest wines and Veuve Cliquot champagne.
For those who prefer something a little different you can create your own bespoke drinks package.
